A Scottish Celebration

The West Highland White Terrier Club are delighted to have been invited by Cornwall Park to participate in celebrating World Parks Day 2009 on Saturday 19 th September 2009 with our dogs. There will be Pipe Bands, Scottish Celtic Music, Scottish Country Dancing and we have been asked to parade with our dogs. They are expecting a huge crowd to enjoy the fun.

Campbell Memorial Steps
Cornwall Park, Auckland.
1-4p.m.
Free Entry

Bring a picnic, your dogs, poo bags and water for dogs. Please keep your dog on a short lead. We will meet at the WHWTC Marquee in the vicinity of the Campbell Memorial Steps (see map over) before 2.15p.m. if you wish to be in the parade starting at 2.30p.m. Club will provide drinks to members. Club members with other breeds also welcome. Wear something tartan if you can.

If you wish you can park over in Grand Drive (where we park for the Warren Walk ) then just walk over to the Memorial Steps which are below the kiosk.
